Where to find us

It is with great regret that I have decided to close Handy Voices Signing Choir for the time being. As most of you know my family has had two family bereavements that have taken emotional and physical toll.  My focus must be right now on taking any extra energy that I have to heal.  This will take effect immediately– so this means there will not be a session tomorrow (Monday).
All subs that have been paid for future sessions by members who sent a bank transfer will be reimbursed asap.  I am very sorry about this, but hope that we can reinstate Handy Voices again when I and my family am strong enough. I thank you for your help, support and kindness.

We are excited to welcome new members throughout the year, so please get in touch using the contact form or on Facebook if you want more information.

You are also welcome to show up to any of our sessions, however on rare occasions we are forced to cancel sessions. This  would only be  due to illness or a performance scheduled over our usual session. For this reason, we update our Facebook page in the event that the session has been cancelled.

No BSL experience needed.

We meet on Monday evenings (term time only)

Youth Handy Voices: 5:15pm- 7:00pm

Handy Voices 7:15pm-9:00pm.

FREE Tea/Coffee/Biscuits on arrival– learning session starts promptly 5:30/7:30pm

Oxford Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre
St Ebbe’s, Littlegate Street

Due to the pedestrianisation of the centre of Oxford, no through traffic can drive through the centre of town.  All approach to the Deaf Centre will need to be from either north on Abingdon Road or east on Oxpens/Thames street.  Once on Oxpens/Thame street there is a turning and set of lights that takes you to Speedwell street.   Turn right on Speedwell street and the next right on to Albion Place. Follow Albion Place to the left and the Deaf centre is on the left hand side at the bottom of Littlegate Street.
